Prices
Legal Translation
Our legal translation prices are given in the JURISTRANS PRICELIST that we provide you upon request. The JURISTRANS PRICELIST enables you to easily foresee your translation expenses, and the prices and extra charges given are guaranteed and final.
If you would like an estimated price for your translation, please contact us.
Accounting, Auditing & Financial Translations
The price for Accounting, Auditing & Financial Translations is CZK 650 per NP (NP – normative page; a Czech standard equal to 1 800 characters, including spaces) of the target text (translation), + VAT.
The same rule applies regarding extra charges as for Legal Translations.
If you would like an estimated price for your translation, please contact us.
Language-Law Courses
The prices for our Language-Law Courses, unless directly stated at the end of the course description, are negotiable and based on the length of the course, number of participants, whether it is a standard or a 'tailor-made' course etc.
If you would like a price calculation for a particular course, please contact us.
Proofreading
We can provide for a review, amendment and stylisation of a non-native speaker's translated/drafted text by one of our editors, qualified native speakers of the target language with a legal background, otherwise known as "Legal Proofreading".
Our rate for Legal Proofreading is CZK 650 per hour + VAT.
We note that translation of an original text is more convenient, both in terms of price and time, than the proofreading of a poorly translated or drafted text. Moreover, in the case of a poorly translated or drafted text, it is difficult to guarantee the exact conveyance of the original meaning and connotation where such a poor translation or draft is misleading or wrong.
Certified Translation
As legal translation is our speciality, as a matter of course we are able to furnish any translation with a "certified translation" certificate. This is to certify that the translation has been made or verified by a "certified translator". "Certified translators" are appointed by the courts. "Certified translations" are required by the authorities in some cases so that those authorities can accept the translation as valid and legally binding.
If you wish to have your translation furnished with a "certified translation" certificate, we will need either the original or a notarised copy of the source text in accordance with Czech law.
For certification of your translation, we charge an additional fee of CZK 150 per print page of the target text + VAT.
